HYBRID 100-HOUR TRADITIONAL TANTRA HATHA YOGA TEACHER TRAINING

A 12-week hybrid training with Natalie Hennekam March – June 2027 | Sydney + Online

Yoga Teacher Training

You finished your teacher training knowing there was so much more to yoga than the physical practice.

You’ve studied the philosophy.

You’ve heard about pranayama, meditation, mantra, bandha, mudra and the more subtle practices of yoga.

Maybe you already include some of them in your classes.

But when it comes to actually bringing all of these pieces together into one intentional, intelligent practice?

That’s where it can start to feel less clear.

What do I use?

When do I use it?

Why am I using it?

How do I know which practices belong together?

How do I teach beyond asana without simply adding five minutes of pranayama or meditation to the end of class?

And perhaps most importantly:

How do I take everything I’ve learned about yoga and actually turn it into something I can confidently teach?

This training is about bridging that gap.

"FROM KNOWING THERE IS MORE TO YOGA TO KNOWING HOW TO TEACH IT"

Traditional Tantra Hatha Yoga gives us a system.

Rather than seeing asana, pranayama, meditation and the subtler techniques of yoga as separate practices, we begin to understand how they work together.

We start to look at the energetic intention behind a practice.

Why this asana?

Why this breath?

Why this meditation?

Why now?

And what are we actually trying to cultivate?

Suddenly, sequencing becomes about much more than choosing poses that flow nicely together.

And teaching yoga becomes about much more than teaching movement.

The more you understand the system behind the practice, the more intentional – and often simpler – your teaching becomes.

THIS ISN'T ABOUT ADDING MORE TO YOUR CLASSES

In fact, it might be about doing less.

But understanding more.

This isn’t about squeezing asana, pranayama, meditation, mantra, mudra and bandha into every 60-minute class because you feel like you should.

It’s about understanding the practices well enough to make intelligent choices.

To know what belongs.

To know what doesn’t.

To understand what you’re trying to create before you decide how you’re going to create it.

And to develop enough confidence in the practices that you’re no longer teaching something simply because someone once told you:

“This is a good pranayama to do at the end.”

You know why you’re teaching it.

100 HOURS OVER 12 WEEKS

This training combines 50 hours of comprehensive online study with another 50 hours of integration, practice, observation, teaching practicum, mentorship and continued study with Natalie.

The online foundation of the training is Octavio Salvado’s 50-Hour Traditional Hatha Yoga Training through The Practice Bali.

You’ll receive access to more than 50 training videos, lectures, full practices and meditations exploring the philosophy, methodology and techniques of Traditional Tantra Hatha Yoga.

You’ll also receive your own 200+ page full-colour printed manual to work with throughout the training.

But the online training is only the beginning.

Because information alone doesn’t make us better teachers.

We have to work with it.

STUDY IT. PRACTISE IT. INTEGRATE IT. TEACH IT.

Rather than completing 50 hours of online material and wondering what to do with everything you’ve just learned, we’ll work through the training together over 12 weeks.

You’ll complete your assigned online study. You’ll practise. Then we’ll come together.

One week we’ll meet face-to-face for three hours.

The following week we’ll meet online for two.

We’ll unpack what you’ve learned. We’ll explore what came up in your practice. We’ll ask questions. We’ll look at how the teachings translate into a class. And every week, we’ll practise teaching.

Then you go back to the material and we do it again.

Study → Practise → Integrate → Teach → Repeat.

This is what allows information to gradually become knowledge you can actually use.

YOUR YOGA PRACTICE BECOMES PART OF YOUR TRAINING

For the full 12 weeks, you’ll receive an Unlimited Grow ‘N Flow Yoga Membership.

And I want you to use it.

You’ll be expected to attend at least one Traditional Tantra Hatha Yoga class each week as part of the training.

Meet Your Teacher -
Natalie Hennekam

With over a decade of teaching, training and consulting experience, teaching has always been at the heart of Natalie’s work. Her professional background in training and education, combined with her own journey through Vinyasa and Traditional Tantra Hatha Yoga, eventually led her from teaching yoga to opening her own studio – and discovering an even bigger passion: teaching teachers.

Natalie has spent years mentoring and training yoga teachers, helping them turn what they’ve learned into something they can confidently practise and teach. She believes Traditional Tantra Hatha offers something incredibly powerful: a practical system for self-excellence and a way of teaching yoga that brings us back to what yoga actually is –  rather than simply mindful movement. Bringing together her love of this lineage with her experience as a trainer, mentor, studio owner and yoga teacher is what makes teaching this 12-week journey something she genuinely loves to do.

THIS TRAINING IS FOR YOU IF…

You’ve already completed a yoga teacher training and know 200 hours was really only the beginning.

You know yoga is more than asana and philosophy, but you want the confidence to bring asana, pranayama, meditation and the subtler practices together with real intention.

You want to understand why you’re teaching something, not simply repeat what you’ve been taught.

And you’re ready to practise, teach, receive feedback and go deeper.

If this feels like the part of your original teacher training you wanted more of, you’re probably in the right place.

THIS IS NOT A BEGINNER TEACHER TRAINING

We’re going to go deep quite quickly, so you should already have a foundation in yoga practice, philosophy and study –  ideally through a previous teacher training.

You don’t need to be currently teaching, but we’re building on the foundations rather than starting from them.

Looking for your first teacher training?

Our 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training begins in July 2027 and is designed to build those foundations from the beginning.

NO FLUFF. LEARN THE ACTUAL SCIENCE BEHIND THE PRACTICE.

This isn’t about collecting more techniques to make your classes feel more “yogic.”

It’s about understanding the system behind Traditional Tantra Hatha Yoga.

Why we practise asana in a particular way.

Why we use a particular pranayama.

Why meditation isn’t simply something we add to the final five minutes.

How the different practices affect energy and mind.

How they work together.

And how to build a class from that understanding rather than from a list of poses.

Learn the practice deeply enough that you don’t have to guess what to teach.

Study it. Experience it. Understand the science behind it. Then learn how to teach it.

Go beyond the asana. Learn the system behind the practice.
